2024 MANAGEMENT TEAM
Fr. Jacob Saylor, Program Director
Fr. Jacob is a priest at the Assumption Church, in Scottsdale, and is husband to Pres. Jordan, and dad to Jacob “Jack” Athanasios and Benjamin “Beau” Ioannis.
Fr. Jacob has extensive youth ministry and camping experience, having served at Ionian Village, as well as the summer camp programs of the Metropolises of Atlanta, San Francisco, and the Direct Archdiocesan District.
Excited about the relationships that will be forged, the fun that will be had, and the spiritual growth that will no doubt change us all, Fr. Jacob is thrilled about the things God has in store for us this summer!
Fr. Alexander Eliades, Ecclesiarch
Father Alexander Eliades is the assistant priest at Holy Trinity Cathedral in Phoenix. A long time camp counselor at the Metropolis level, he's also been at All Saints Camp for the last 7 years where he met his now wife, Presbytera Laura. They and their 2 kids, Max and Penelope are excited for another year of faith and fun!
GEORGE MILLER, ADMINISTRATION DIRECTOR
George is excited to return to ASC for 2024! His hope is that camp will be bigger and better than ever! Originally from New Mexico, George has lived in the Phoenix area since he started college in 2019. He works at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Scottsdale, AZ where he married his beautiful wife Chloe last summer! George is a seminarian student finishing his MDiv at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. When he’s not at camp, you can find George with a laptop working in his office, at home, in his car, at the chant stand, outside, on an airplane, in Mexico or anywhere else working is humanly possible.
NIKO PARIS, Activities DIRECTOR
Meet Niko Paris, the Boy's Director for All Saints Camp. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, he is excited to be back at All Saints for his second summer. Having been around summer camp programs since he was young, Niko grew to love this amazing ministry of the Church. With multiple years of camp staff experiences under his belt through Ionian Village, All Saints & Camp Catanese, Niko is excited to see what ASC 2024 will bring. As the Youth Director of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, Niko is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ with young people from all walks of life. With his enthusiastic and vibrant approach, he will be coordinating the boys' program and working tirelessly to ensure that every camper has the time of their life at All Saints Camp.
Evan Tsagaris, Boys’ Director
Let’s run it back—
It seems like Evan has always been involved with camp. He attended St. Nicholas Ranch for many years, first as a camper, then staff, as well as Camp Saint Paul and of course All Saints Camp, not to include many youth retreats across the country. He has also served in youth ministry– Sunday School, Greek Dance, GOYA, First Fridays– in many parishes, including both Assumption and Holy Trinity.
In his free time you will find him cooking, hiking up North Mountain, or boogying (usually by himself at home) to anything from rock to funk to Greek folk.
Evan keeps coming back because he knows firsthand the impact of camping ministry and wants to see it continue and thrive, and he can’t wait to see you all there this summer!
PRES. JORDAN SAYLOR, GIRLS’ DIRECTOR
Pres. Jordan (aka Camp Mom) is looking forward to getting the crew back together this summer - her twelfth serving multiple camps under the Metropolis of San Francisco. Amongst all of the craziness happening in the world, she has two support staff members—a hysterical 4.5 year old, Jack, and a rambunctious 3 year old, Benjamin.
Hailing from the great Central Valley of California, Pres. Jordan is no stranger to the Arizona sunshine and heat (although let’s be honest, the coast sounds pretty nice right about now). When she isn’t changing diapers and breaking up wrestling matches between her toddlers, Pres. Jordan is volunteering at the church, spending time with her husband Fr. Jacob, working youth events and retreats, and attending Philoptochos functions. She also enjoys a competitive game of Jeopardy, hiking, crossword puzzles, long drives with the windows down, and of course, building houses at Project Mexico! This summer, Pres. Jordan is ready to take a break from wrangling her own kiddos...to take care of yours for a week! See y’all soon, ASC!
Christian Gonzalez, MA, LMFT, Support Staff
Christian lives in Tempe with his wife, Michaela, and three daughters, Alaina (13), Ava (9), and Amelia (5). Christian earns his keep by working as the Director of Ministry for Orthodox Youth Ministries, a national youth and young adult ministry under the Assembly of Bishops. In addition, he is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has his own practice in Gilbert.
With over 15 years of experience in ministry with young people, Christian has worked in a variety of contexts, including at the camp, parish, diocesan, archdiocesan, and, now, national pan-Orthodox level. He has been involved in creating resources like Effective Christian Ministry and has been the host of numerous podcasts on Ancient Faith, including “Pop Culture Coffee Hour” and his most recent project, “Dear Parents, You’re Not Alone.”
Eager to return to his ministry roots at summer camp, Christian cannot wait to form relationships with staff and campers as they all seek to grow closer to Christ alongside one another. As a father himself, Christian believes that there is no greater joy to God’s heart than for God to see His children living and dwelling together in unity.
John Schneider, Support Staff
Back again! John has been at All Saints Camp in various roles since 2016. He is very grateful to be able to make the beautiful drive up the hill and see the beautiful faces of all the campers and staff for one more year. Currently, John attends Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Phoenix and serves on the parish council. In his free time, John loves to be up in the mountains backpacking, fishing, and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. John is pumped to be at ASC 2024 and can’t wait to see you all!
